Darío Silva
Executive producer and director with more than 20 years of experience in television, theater and live shows. He has created and produced more than 2,500 hours of entertainment. Among his most outstanding works are the web series productions of: Barbie, Polly Pocket, Matchbox and other international brands for children; as well as the production of live shows for Sesame Street, Backyardigans, Lazy Town and Peppa Pig in Colombia.
He is the creator of: Ana Pirata, a 2D animated series licensed by Discovery Kids for 48 countries in LATAM; Josefina en la Cocina (108 episodes) a live action cooking show for kids; and La Función (80 episodes), a behind-the-scenes documentary series about performing arts shows.
He has directed and produced major-live events for television, such as: the Estéreo Picnic Festival, the Rock al Parque Festival and the visit of Pope Francis to Colombia. As General Producer of the National Theater, he managed and operated more than 80 theater and musical performances. As Major Events Producer of the Ibero-American Theater Festival of Bogota, he created, produced and directed the Multimedia Show for the Bicentennial Celebration of Colombia’s Independence and the Multimedia Show for the Closing Ceremony of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Bogota.
